12How should a scientist make observations?
Scientist should make observations by looking at primary information. (Example, Watched, Ethically, etc)
13What helps you characterize newts, salamander, frogs, and toads?
By looking at their tail, head, etc.
14What are the 7 items that must be included in a Field Journal?
1. date and time 2. location and route 3. weather 4. habitats 5. vegetation 6. general commentary (details that help us learn more about the organism or enviroment) 7. Species list (group by taxonomy)
15Explain how to use a dichotomous key.
To use a dichotomous key is to chose the species you are looking fo and answer the yes or no questions.
16Explain this: When using a micoscope, how does magnification affect the item you are viewing?

20List and describe the levels of organization and describe each
Organism - an individual in a population that is a unit level and smallest in a particular organization..
Organ group - similar tissue
Organ system - group of similar organs performing a similar function.
Population - a group of individuals within the particular species found in a specific area, and able to reproduce.
Community - group of two or more species in a population found in a geographical area.
Ecosystem - a community where the interaction between biotic and abiotic (non-living) components.
Biome - an ecological area with the same climate and biodiversity that may have multiple ecosystems within it.
Biosphere - all living organisms along with the spheres, interact with different geosphere.
Universe - Contains space, includes all matter and energy.
