Define poison:
A substance that is harmful when ingested.

An harmful poison or venom or plant or animal origin.

A harmful poison or venom of either organic or inorganic origin.

Substance that is foreign to the body

Substance that is not foreign to the body and can be found

What are the requirements to produce a toxic effect?
Substance must get to the target site, high enough concentration, long enough amount of time exposed.

Lethal dose, Toxic dose, Lethal concentration, Toxic concentration.

50% of animals died when exposed to that amount of dosage.
