What can homeostasis be described as?
A dynamic steady state. Organism maintaining a dynamic steady state internally, in response to external changes.

Why is homeostasis described as a dynamic steady state?
Things are constantly changing and exchanging in between compartments. (ICF and ECF).

Blood sugar (digestive system), water and salt content (Kidneys), blood pressure (Heart, Vessel, Kidney), waste product (Kidney), blood pH (Kidney, Lungs), CO2 and O2 (Lungs), body temperature (Muscles).
