1interphase
cell prepares to dive Dna is copied
2prophase
centrosomes migrate to opposite poles, chromosomes begin to condense
3metaphase
chromosomes attatch to spindle, tension created forces them to align in the middle.
4anaphase
chromatids separate at the centromere, the now regular chromosomes are pulled to centrosomes.
5telephase
chromosomes reach opposite ends of the cells, causing the spindle to dismantle.
6cytokenesis
cell divides, pinchign conitnues utnil cell separates.
7interphase I
Dna is copied cell prepares to divide
8prophase I
nuclear envelope breaks down spindle forms and centrosomes go to opposite poles, homologus chromosomes find their partners and align form tetrad
9metaphase I
pairs of homologus chromsomes are pulled to metaphase plate
10anaphase I
homologus chromosomes sepearate ,centromeres of replicated chromosomes do not split, sister chromatids still stay connected
11telophase I
nuclear envelopes reform around chromosomes, DNA partitioned int o each of the 2 daughter cells
12cytokenesis I
DNA goes to each daughter cell, ready for meosis II
13interkenesis II
following meiosis one genetic materal has been halved but each duplicated chromosome must still be split into final haploid cells.
14prophase II
cell prepares for another round of division, microtubules lengthen again
15metaphase II
chromosomes align in the middle
16anaphase II
sister chromoatide separate from eachother, move to opposite poles
17telophase II
separated chromosomes each become enclosed in their own nucleas
18cytokinesis II
Separates each cell into daughter cell leaving 4 total cells..
