Checklist

1 - Flaps Up
2 - Passenger Brief
3 - Hobbs/Tach
4- Circuit Breaker
5- ELT armed

1- Locked Seat
2- Avionics, Autopilot, Carb Heat OFF
3- Mixture FULL RICH
4- Throttle Up/Down
5- Prime
6- Brakes
7- Clear Prop!
8- Master/Beacon/ Fuel Pump ON
9- Mags START (PLANE ON)
10- Oil, Fuel pressure, amps then fuel pump off
11- Turn on Anti collision lights

1- Avionics on (There are 7)
2- Get the weather and altimeter (Top portion is the weather, buttom portion is the radio) and make sure your on Comm 2
3- Check for 1200 (VFR Sqwk), Altitude +/- 75ft (400) and make sure transponder on IPAD is working
4- Check to make sure heading indicator and magnetic gyro is aligned
5- Make radio call and state where you are going

- Go ahead and taxi to wherever you need to go
- pause before the hold short line and set brakes
1- make sure the fuel is on the proper tank
2- trim for takeoff
3- check flight controls
4- Turn on anticollision lights if they are not on
5- Set RPMs to 2000 and check mags left, right, and carb heat as well as amps/volts, fuel pressure, oil pressure, oil temperature, and then bring it back to idle
6- make sure flaps are up
7- turn fuel pump on, carb heat off, check transponder, squawk, and heading bug
8- shut doors and windows, turn on strobes and landing lights as required, note the time
9- State that you are preparing to take off on x/y runway and your departing on what side of the crosswind, and where

1- full power
2- rotate at 55 and pitch for vy (best rate of climb 77)

1- state that you are departing to whichever direction and it is the final call
2- continue climb, and use trim to help set the altitude you wish to stay at
3- put in new frequencies and set GPS to the airport your going to

- taxi/landing light off
- fuel pump turn off

- landing light on
- fuel pump on
- fuel proper tank
- flaps as required

1- flaps up
2- carb heat, fuel pump, strob lights, landing light off
3- taxi light as required
4- trim back to takeoff

1- ELT silent
2- Avionics off
3- mix full lean
4- mags, master, lights off
5- note hobbs and tac time
