1Takeoff
1- Check Runway number
2- bug heading
3- full power
4- airspeed alive and gauges in the green
5- rotate (atleast at 70MPH)
6- Nose on horizion (climb)
2Ascending
1- bug heading
2- nose on the horizion, and trim to keep climbing altitude
3- full power
4- lvl off at 100ft from designated altitude
5- make sure that aircraft is moving 100MPH before reducing power back to 2200 RPM
3Descending
1- bug heading
2- nose 1/2 sky 1/2 land, and trim for descent
3- power back to 19 RPM
4- trim when neccessary
5- power back to 22RPM when leveling off
4Slow Flight Clean
1- fuel (both) mix (full rich) carb heat (on)
2- power back to 15 RPM
3- point nose up and add in nose up trim
4- remember to keep eyes on the horzion, scan, and wait until you hear the stall horn warning
5- once the warning is heard power goes to 19 RPM and remember to maintain altitude
Recovery....
- carb heat off, full power, right rudder, remove nose up trim
- nose in straight and level flight
- once plane reaches 100 MPH bring back power to cruise setting (22RPM)
5Slow Flight Dirty
1- fuel (both), mix (full rich), carb heat (on)
2- bring power back to 15 RPMs and make sure airspeed is below 100 MPH
3- dump all your flaps in
4- watch for ballooning of flaps and wait till you hear stall warning indication around 55 MPH
5- power goes back to 19RPMs and maintain altitude
Recovery....
1- full power
2- establish a rate of climb then add in 3secs of flaps
3- carb heat off
4- add another 3 secs of flaps
5- when airspeed is past 80 MPH add all the flaps in
6- aim for straight and level flight and reduce power once reaching 100 MPH
6Stall Clean
1- fuel (both) mix (full rich) carb heat (on)
2- power back to 15 RPM
3- point nose up and add in nose up trim
4- remember to keep eyes on the horzion, scan, and wait until you hear the stall horn warning
5- despite hearing the horn keep pulling up but dont add too much nose up trim
6- when plane stalls remember...DONT PANIC THE PLANE WANTS TO RECOVER. Use your right rudder or whatever side the nose drops and build climb rate and get that power back up to 100 MPH.
7Poweroff Stall
1- fuel (both), mix (full rich), carb heat (on)
2- bring power back to 15 RPMs and make sure airspeed is below 100 MPH
3- dump all your flaps in
4- watch for ballooning of flaps and maintain a glide path of 65 MPH
5- cut the power and pull the nose up keeping your wings leveled
Recovery...
1- rudder on the opposite side the nose falls and full power
2- establish a positive rate of climb, take out flaps 3 seconds, carb heat off, then flaps up for 2 seconds until they are all up
3- keep power in until airspeed reaches 100MPH, then take out airspeed
8Landing
1: "Speedway Traffic Skyhawk 7350G on the upwind for Runway 24 , speedway Traffic"
- VR: 60 MPH
- Vy:82 MPH
- Climb to 500 AGL (1400 at KHMP ) Then turn to crosswind
2: "Speedway Traffic Skyhawk 7350G is on left crosswind for runway 24, Spee
- Level wings
- make sure runway is in sight
- Vy: 82MPH
- continue to climb to 1000 AGL
- Fly out approximately I mile and then turn to the downwind
3: "Speedway Traffic Skyhawk 7350G is on left downwind for Runway 24, Speedway"
- level off at 1000ft AGL
- Airspeed =100 MPH and RPM= 2000-2100
4: → Descent Check
- Fuel (Both)
- Mix (Fuel Rich )
- Carb Heat as Required
- Lights ON
→ landing Configuration
-1700 RPM
- Below 100 MPH
- Flaps Up 10°
- Pitch for 90 MPH
- Descend 200 FT
5: "Speedway Traffic, Skyhawk 7350G is on the left base for Runway 24 , Speedway Traffic "
