1Celestial Bodies
Naturally made objects outside the Earth's atmosphere
2Galaxy
A very large collection of stars, held together by gravity, and isolated from other such systems by large areas of space
3Constellations
a group of stars
4Solar System
A group of planets, asteroids, comets and other celestial bodies in orbit around a star, and held together by that star's gravity
5Star
Giant luminous balls of hot gas, giving out heat and light, eg. our sun
6Planet
A celestial body orbiting a sun, that is big enough and has enough gravity to pull themselves into a spherical shape, and clear their orbit of other objects
7Dwarf Planet
A small planet orbiting a sun, that doesn't meet all the requirements to be called a planet
8Moon
A natural satellite of a planet. A satellite is an object that orbits a planet
9Asteroid
Giant rocks that orbit a sun but are too small to be a planet; many form the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter
10Comet
Mixtures of frozen gases, ice, dust and small rocks, orbiting the sun in a large eclipse
11Meteor
Rocks that burn up in the Earth's atmosphere. Bits may fall to Earth as meteorites
12Black Hole
Not a hole but caused when a Giant Star collapses in on itself-huge mass in a tiny area. Gravity is so strong not even light can escape!
13Halley's Comet
The only comet that can be seen with the naked eye twice in one person's lifetime
